Vehicle layout

From layout to prototype: vehicle product engineering and development.

We have cohesive teams, with a wide spectrum of professionals with expertise able to follow the development of a vehicle from its initial layout stages.

Ergonomic and normative checks

Our work groups are able to take part in every initial vehicle layout stage.

Alongside the styling and during the consolidation of the look, we are able to provide qualified support when it comes to testing and to the proposals focusing on interior ergonomics, and active and passive safety, compliant with standards and current best practices. All via independent study and also taking part in previously established groups.

Vehicle bodyworks

With our panel of resources offering specific expertise ranging from 5 to 30 years in their individual areas, we are able to provide groups for the development of full packages, from team leaders to parts drafters.

From feasibility to modelling, via management of the cycle of changes, through to inspections, in UG NX, CATIA V5 environments, with the possibility to dialogue with the CAS world.

Interior finishes and cockpit

Our resources with the longest experience have considerable expertise in the development of dashboards, control panels, door panels and other vehicle interior elements.

Around these, we have consolidated cohesive work groups able to engineer both large and small components. The team also includes figures with decades of experience in the moulding industry, with the task of dealing with the preliminary critical issues of tooling and shortening the cycle of post-design changes.

Cockpit integration

We have the right tools and skills to receive and integrate parts developed using different platforms along the supply chains into an even cockpit structure.

This integration may occur at both operational and geometric levels. With top-level partnership agreements with the main tech players in the additive manufacturing sector, in prototyping with top operational characteristics, and reverse engineering, we are able to support our clients throughout the lifetime of the product, from feasibility to pre-series and on to the management of obsolescence.

Seats area

We have professional figures with specific expertise in the area of seats.

We work in both structure and mechanical areas as well as in finishes and style. We deal with ergonomic studies through design and development, through to the stage of inspection, simulation and calculation. Our company has the best static and dynamic rendering software, which is used by European-level experts. This means we can offer photorealistic and setting images from the design without passing via the physical prototype, thereby satisfying extreme customisation requirements for premium segments, but at acceptable costs.

CAE – DMU Analisys

With a range of in-house experts and a dense network of collaborations with Italian and European partners, we are able to develop and integrate a full range of tests and simulations, managing design modifications and critical points highlighted at the same time.

In the same way, we use DMU software from different brands to develop full packaging and interference solution studies

Chassis and Powertrain
